========================================The 2nd annual Thanksgiving weekend euchre party was a complete success and attendance was higher than expected.
Thanks again, to Dan and Carol B. for sharing their home, and those who volunteered, (You know who you are). From the thrill of victory to the agony of defeat, laughter was heard all around the lake. The history annals will read, " A wonderful time had by all”. This is the premier social event in Clare County.
There weren’t any outright shutouts, but we did have a low of one-point taken and a high score of 16 by Glady & Don, Closely followed by a 14 point score by John and Kenny.
I never did hear who took 1st place, but there was a tie for second between Don and Denise placed second with a score of 55 points and the Turkey prize for the lowest score went to Tonya S and let us not forget Carol B. took fourth place.
Please contact Gail or myself via email if you would like to volunteer to share your place or help us get organized, and don't forget to cast your vote for the next date for the next euchre party.-------------------------------------Check out the Mannsiding Lodge A euchre party would cost us around $100 for the night and we can bring our own food and drinks. STEPHENS, Marilyn Ann. February 9 , 2010. Age 77. Beloved wife of Doyle for 54 years, 4 months, and 8 days. Loving mother of John (Lori), Dianne Brewer, Donald, Sharon Stephens, and April Stephens. Proud and loving grandmother of Shannon (Rick), Breanna, Tonya, Ashley, and Trisha, and great-grandmother of Rylee. Dear sister of Jean (Charles) Hall, Carol Ellis, Mick (Kathy) Cuneaz, and the late June Gaiser (Eugene). Mrs. Stephens found her lifes greatest joy in loving her family unconditionally.
